Hank Wilson, Certified Financial Planner is a native of Philadelphia and an active community leader who takes pride in giving back and mentoring to neighborhood youth.He is a retired Director of the Cheltenham School Board.Wilson serves on several boards including Concerned Black Men Inc,Philadelphia chapter. ( a youth mentoring organization), and Wilson Insurance and Financial Planning. Wilson is a graduate of Eastern University with a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management and a Registered Securities Representative. In 1985, Hank’s entrepreneurial spirit eventually lead him to open the doors to The Wilson Insurance and Financial Planning Agency. Wilson Insurance is an independent agency offering a variety of services that include auto, property, health, life and business insurance, as well as investment and financial planning. In 2005, Hank stepped down as president of Wilson Insurance and Financial Planning to head the Wilson Financial Group; a fee based financial planning and wealth management practice. The Wilson Financial Group offers an objective, fee-based approach to financial planning. Hank still active in the management of the insurance agency. Wilson has a list of accomplishments that include: Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Financial Consultant, Chartered Life Underwriter, Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow, and Accredited Advisor in Insurance. Wilson’s advice is to learn everything possible about your field of interest. “The more you know about your business, the better prepared you are to serve the public. By mastering your business, people are more apt to do business with you because they know you are an expert.” Wilson enjoys educating clients and offers a holistic point of view.
